KIRSCH was the first company in the laboratory refrigeration sector to respond to the new ATEX product directive 2014/34/EU. Our LABEX® models are specially designed for the storage of explosive substances at maximum temperature stability. The interior is tested by TÜV SÜD to ensure it is free of ignition sources in accordance with the ATEX 2014/34/EU directive. This means: All electrical devices and components used in the interior are specially designed for use in Zone 1* and Zone 2, we also guarantee maximum temperature stability in the explosion-proof interior, intrinsically safe supply of the temperature sensors in the interior, EX-protected air circulation fans, special earthing concept for discharging electrical potentials, antistatic construction of the plastic parts in the interior.
