Blood bank refrigerators are our most important products, they are subject to the Medical Product Law.
In order to guarantee even higher safety and quality of our appliances, Kirsch is certified according to ISO 13485. This certificate proves the conformity to the relevant specifications in the manufacture of medical products. Each BL model offers numerous KIRSCH innovations as standard equipment. Manufactured according to DIN 58371.
Our medical devices, the KIRSCH Blood Bank Refrigerators and Blood Plasma Freezers, meet all legal requirements and have been certified according to Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) since March 2022. The certification was carried out by the notified body mdc medical device certification GmbH (CE0483).
By obtaining MDR certification for our blood cooling devices and therefore fulfilling all strict requirements , we are contributing to the better protection of public health and patient safety.
