Innovation made by Kirsch
Innovation is an essential part of the Kirsch brand, because it is the only way we can continually develop new technologies and make our products even better. By using new technologies, for example, we have managed to reduce the energy consumption of our appliances by around 60% in recent years. This saves our customers a lot of money and also benefits the environment. As a result of our innovation work, we were awarded the TOP 100 seal as early as February 2022.
Cooling - machine with indirect cooling
Our Labo 530 and 730 freezers now have a new Cooling - machine with indirect cooling where defrosting takes place outside the device. This ensures a constant
interior temperature even during defrosting.
Other advantages:
- Energy consumption reduced by 39%
- Defrosting without endangering the refrigerated goods
- Reduced heat emission
- Temperature equalization after door opening at 25°C room temperature and 45% relative humidity = 15-20min
- Pulldown = 65 min (from +25°C to -25°C)
Inverter Technology
The inverter compressor adjusts its speed based on the cooling demand of the refrigerator. When the temperature inside the refrigerator rises, the compressor speeds up to cool the interior more quickly. Once the desired temperature is reached, the compressor slows down or even stops, reducing energy consumption. Find out more by clicking on the link below.
Magnetocaloric cooling system
The team of the MagMed and MagMed 2 research projects is developing an energy-efficient cooling system that uses the so-called magnetocaloric effect and does not require any climate-damaging fluids. Dr Kilian Bartholome and Dr Jochen Kopitzke explain in an interview how this works.
